US just as biased (pdf)

Grands Rapids Opportunities for Women - Economic Literacy Program
"Economic Literacy training to low-income women of Kent County, thereby enhancing their ability to independently obtain the necessities of daily life."

This gender-biased program further ingrains the victorian expectation that fathers should have little or nothing to do with their children or home life.

Life Guidance Service - Womens Outreach
"Short-term counseling service for women suffering from the effects of domestic violence, depression, anxiety disorders, family dissolution, substance abuse, physical illness, and repeat victimization."

Without exeption these issues effect just as many men as women. Why then in this "enlightened age" should men be excluded from the same level of help?
